Hello Fellow Nurses!

In celebration of the Nurses’ Week, the CNMI Nursing Association is encouraging all nurses to submit names of nurses(nominees) whom you feel fit the best award as follows:

1. Strong Leadership Nurse: Through this nurses' leadership role, this nurse exemplifies strong critical thinking skills in caring for their patients. This nurse continues to strive to provide standards of care and helps guide others in making quality health care decisions.
2. Most Dedicated Nurse: This nurse shows a strong dedication and perseverance in providing quality health care to their clients even in difficult situations. This nurse has the strength and motivation to continue providing quality health care to the patients they care for.
3. Most Caring Nurse: This nurse provides warm and loving nursing care to all his or her patients. Through this caring touch, this nurse enhances the healing power of nursing care.
4. Best Role Model Nurse: This nurse is "Proud to be a Nurse" and shows enthusiasm about the nursing profession. Through this positive outlook, this nurse encourages others to pursue a nursing profession.
5. Best Team Player Nurse: This nurse shows strong collaboration skills. This nurse takes constructive criticism positively to enhance his or her nursing care. This nurse knows the importance of working as a team to provide excellent and quality health care.
6. Ms. / Mr. Nurse Congeniality: This is a fun-filled award to a nurse who is just generally very friendly and kind to all. This nurse is genuine to everyone he or she comes in contact with no matter what the mood or temperature of the day it is; he or she continues to shine and smile.
Qualifications: Must be a nurse (RN or LPN) and currently working as a nurse in government or private sectors.

Other winning awards: (must be a Nursing Assistant, currently working, and have at least 5 years of service in public or private sectors).

1. Most Dedicated Nursing Assistant: This is a nurse assistant or nurse aid that has shown hard work and dedication in the nursing workforce by providing care to clients within the healthcare team. This nurse assistant strives to provide quality health care to all patients cared for.

Note: Due to some concerns, we are changing the voting process. Be aware that there will be a drop box and ballots where all nurses could cast their votes for nominees. The final voting will be done at the Nurses Ball. For CHC Nurses (Except WCC), the drop box and ballots will be placed at the Nursing Supervisor's Office beside the Bundy Clock. For WCC Nurses, drop box and ballots will be placed beside your respective Bundy Clock area. For Southern Wellness and Private Clinic Nurses, drop box and ballots will be provided for your clinic.
